Chow Chow Thoran
1) Chow Chow – 2 , cubed into small pieces
2) Small Yellow Onion – 2 , finely chopped
3) Green Chilly – 4
4) Grated Coconut – 3 tbsp
5) Split Black Gram Dal ( Split chana Dal) – 2 tsp
6) Mustard Seeds
7) Curry leaves – 1 sprig
8) Oil
9) Salt
Grind coconut and green chilly and set aside.
Heat some oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
Add Curry leaves , split chana dal and saute.
Add chopped onion and saute till they are transparent.
Add Salt and cubed chow chow pieces and saute.
Add ground coconut mixture and cook covered.
Serve with Rice.
